Who we are

EcoImpact runs this website and the EcoImpact waste-traceability platform. For privacy questions, write to hello@ecoimpact.africa or call 0724 406 054.

What we collect

Nothing, unless you contact us. Browsing this website does not ask you for any details. If you fill in the demo or quote form, we receive what you type:

• your name and organisation, and the kind of organisation you are;
• your phone number and email address (at least one of them);
• anything you write in the message box.

If you call us, message us on WhatsApp or email us instead, we see your number or address and what you tell us.

Why we use it

To reply to your request, book a demo or prepare a quote, and to keep a record of that conversation. We do not sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Who handles it

• Web3Forms delivers the form to us. It passes your message to our email inbox and is used only for that.
• Zoho Mail hosts our inbox at hello@ecoimpact.africa, where messages are stored.
• WhatsApp (Meta) carries your message if you choose to write to us there.

We do not share your details with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as we need it to deal with your request and to follow up with you. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Cookies and storage

This website sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising. If you switch between light and dark, your choice is saved in your own browser so it stays the same on your next visit. It is not sent to us.

The platform

The EcoImpact platform at app.ecoimpact.africa has its own privacy notice, which covers the accounts and records of the people who use it.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya you may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@ecoimpact.africa and we will reply within the time the Act sets. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner of Kenya (odpc.go.ke).

Changes

If we change this notice, the date at the top changes with it.
